card defaulting at 10 MB...

I have a 3C-905B card, I compiled the kernel (2.0.36) and included the
drivers and the card works fine at 10 MB. I would like to get it to run
at 100 MB, the lights on the back of the card and on the switch both tell
me it is running at 10 MB. How do I go about making it default to 100 MB?
